NORTH GREENBUSH, N.Y. -- North Greenbush police arrested a Poestenkill man who they say stole lottery tickets.

Police arrested Lloyd Thomas Jr., 26, following a month-long investigation. Police say there were 17 books of lottery tickets with a total value of $7,500 missing from the store.

Police say they interviewed several people, including Thomas. They say he admitted to taking the tickets and cashing the winners at various locations.

Thomas is charged with grand larceny.
