Teen facing charges after lighting firecracker on school bus
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A Schenectady teen faces charges after police say he lit a firecracker on a school bus Tuesday. It happened just after 4 p.m. as the bus sat parked in front of Schenectady High School.
Police say there were up to 25 students on the bus at the time, although no injuries were reported.
The teen has been charged with reckless endangerment and unlawfully dealing with fireworks. He's scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday morning.
