ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former investment broker has been arraigned on 16 counts of grand larceny after officials say he stole more than $2 million from his clients.

According to the Albany County District Attorney's office, Mark Casolo, 55, of Voorheesville, has been accused of stealing $2.2 million from 16 victims by using fraudulent and unauthorized transactions from the victims’ accounts. Officials say Casolo used the money for credit card bills, travel, entertainment and other personal expenses. It happened between 2006 and 2009 within Albany County.
