Police investigating robberies at pharmacies

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany police are searching for a suspect after two separate robberies at pharmacies in the city.

Police say a man walked into the CVS on Madison Avenue Tuesday night and passed a note at the pharmacy counter demanding money.

There was a similar situation at the Rite Aid on Central Avenue Wednesday morning when a man passed a note at the pharmacy counter demanding medication.

The suspect is described as a 25-year-old male, no taller than 5’9” and is roughly 150 pounds. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Albany Police Detectives Division at 462-8039.
