ALBANY, N.Y. -- UAlbany runningback Drew Smith called Saturday's 31-24 loss to #5 Youngstown State heartbreaking because he says UA went into that game expecting to come out with a win.
Unfortunately they fell just short, but the Danes say it showed they can play with any team in the country.
The good news is UA will get a chance at another opponent ranked in the top 25 this weekend when they travel to Maine.
It's the third straight road game for the Great Danes, who are looking for their first win over a ranked opponent since 2009 when they beat those very same Maine Black Bears.
UAlbany and Maine kick off Saturday at 6 p.m.
