SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Expect delays on the Northway this weekend as construction on the Twin Bridges continues.

This is the third weekend for the project, which will close part of the roadway at the Twin Bridges until the end of October.

The northbound lanes of the highway close at 8 p.m. Friday and they will stay that way until Monday morning.

During the closure, traffic will be rerouted onto the southbound side, which will carry one lane of traffic in each direction. Long delays are expected, so plan on giving yourself some extra time.

The southbound bridge will be worked on in the spring.
