Fatal incidents in Schenectady
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A pair of fatal incidents occurred overnight in Schenectady. The first incident happened just before 2:40 a.m. when police found a man stabbed on Elm Street. He was taken to Ellis Hospital where he later died.
Around 7:00 a.m. flames broke out in the Bellvue area of the city. Fire officials said it happened at a home at 1082 Heldeberg Avenue. The fire was under control by 8:00 a.m.
