SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Two puppies found abandoned in a milk crate in Schenectady have been put down due to illness.
The puppies were found Tuesday near 7th Avenue in the front yard of someone's house.
The veterinarian said both puppies tested positive for Parvo, which is a neurological disease that the county is not cleared to treat. Another puppy found with them had already died.
Schenectady police are still looking for the person who abandoned them.
