Former corrections officer found guilty of stabbing during road rage incident
SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former corrections officer was found guilty Wednesday of stabbing a man during a road rage incident.
According to the Saratoga County District Attorney's office, it happened last September on Northern Pines Road in Wilton.
The jury convicted Frank Soriano of felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon. They say Soriano rammed his car into the back of another man's car. The men then both pulled over and a fight ensued.
Officials say Soriano stabbed the victim multiple times with a dagger. The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center by helicopter for his injuries.
Soriano faces up to seven years in state prison.
