ALBANY, N.Y. -- Starting at 9 a.m. Thursday, the I-787 northbound ramp to the South Mall Expressway will be closed in the City of Albany. It's expected to reopen around 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Department of Transportation crews will be doing inspections of the bridge.

Drivers in the area are asked to find an alternate route to get around the closure.
