SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Schenectady police are asking for help in solving this weekend's homicide in the city.

Police say Justin Coleman, 47, was stabbed just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday on Elm Street. When police arrived, they found Coleman on the porch of a home next door to where he lived. He later died at the hospital.

Police say the victim was driving a white four door SUV the night of the stabbing. If anyone saw the SUV the night of the 22nd or has more information about what happened that night, they are asked to call Schenectady police.
