ALBANY, N.Y. -- More than 2,000 people lost power in Arbor Hill because of an electrical issue in downtown Albany.

National Grid crews were called to North Pearl Street where another manhole exploded Wednesday night.

Columbia, Pine, Sheridan and North Pearl streets were all closed while crews worked to find a cause. They have since been reopened and no buildings were evacuated.

This comes a week after several buildings in downtown Albany, including the Judicial Center, were forced to evacuate because of an underground fire.
