Police arrest suspect in pharmacy robberies

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany police arrested the man who they say robbed two pharmacies this month. Timothy O'Connor, 30, is facing robbery charges.
Police say on September 6th, he robbed a CVS on Madison Avenue. They say he displayed a hammer and demanded money.
Police say on September 18th, he went into the same store, walked up to the pharmacy counter and demanded medication.
The next day, police say he went into a Rite Aid on Central Avenue and demanded medication from the pharmacy, showing what appeared to be the handle of a gun.
An officer recognized him from surveillance video and arrested him. He was arraigned and sent to Albany County Jail.
