Federal judge rejects occupy Albany case
ALBANY, N.Y. -- A federal judge sent Occupy Albany's case back to state court. A U.S. district judge refused to take on the protest movement's challenge of its eviction from Academy Park.
Protestors claim that free speech violations made it a federal case, but the federal judge said their camp was broken up because of health and safety concerns. Several occupiers were arrested after refusing to leave Academy Park, when the city tried to move them to clean the area up.
