SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- We're expecting to learn the details today of the proposed 2013 budget for the city of Saratoga Springs. The plan will be presented at tonight's city council meeting.

The budget for this past year called for the first property tax raise in a decade. It was a decision that several county supervisors were not happy with. There's no word yet on whether the new budget will call for one.

Some other changes that were included in this year's budget were healthcare costs and reimbursements for Medicare Plan B, which was on the chopping block going in to the budget cycle.

About $7 million from its fund balance was used to balance the budget.
