SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Some great national publicity for the City of Saratoga Springs as the American Planning Association names Broadway as a top street in America.

The Saratoga main street is on the list of "Top 10 Great Streets for 2012." The list specifically points out the section of Broadway between Van Dam and East Congress streets.

According to the Planning Association, the area used to be a number of vacant store fronts, but thanks to its revitalization, it's now known for its beauty and architecture.

Saratoga Springs Mayor Scott Johnson says the area has long been a destination location for the region and he's honored the city is being recognized for its greatness and success.
