SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- An abandoned house in Schenectady caught fire this morning. Fire crews responded to 339 Paige Street around 6:30 a.m.

No one was hurt, but investigators say there was evidence that people had been inside, perhaps involved in illegal activity. The fire started on the second floor of the house.

The cause has yet to be determined.
