CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. -- There's just about two weeks left in the regular season for high school football which means the playoffs are quickly approaching. A couple of teams have already punched their tickets, but are still battling for positioning.

One of those teams is the Shenendehowa Plainsmen who are 4-0 so far in the Empire Division, but are coming off that tough 35-8 loss to Shaker last week.

The good news for Shen is that loss has no impact on their quest to be the one seed in sectionals. The Plainsmen, lucky for them, control their own destiny. They can win the Empire Division with wins in the final two games of the season.

Shen takes on Saratoga on Friday night.
