HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. -- A nine-year-old girl is recovering in the hospital after she was hit by a car in Hudson Falls. It happened at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of a restaurant on Main Street.

Police say the driver was pulling into a parking spot, when the girl ran behind the car.

She had a broken leg, cuts, and internal injuries, and was flown to Albany Medical Center. She is listed in serious condition.

Police have not issued any tickets at this time.
