Yankees take Game 1 of division series
The Yankees took the first game of the American League Division Series Sunday night with a 7-2 win over the Orioles in Baltimore.
Russell Martin broke open a tie game in the top of the ninth inning with a homer off Orioles closer Jim Johnson.
The Yankees would add four more runs in the inning.
CC Sabathia pitched eight and two-thirds innings for the win.
Game 2 gets underway Monday night at 8 p.m.
