ALBANY, N.Y. -- Today is a big day for YNN as we are marking our 10th anniversary here in the Capital Region. The station started broadcasting back on October 11th, 2002.
A celebration was held last night at the New York State Museum where employees got together to mark the occasion. We were originally known as Capital News 9 and were branded Your News Now in 2010 when Time Warner Cable launched other stations across the upstate region.
Time Warner Cable now has eight channels, providing viewers with news and weather 24 hours a day.
The YNN Albany newsroom also produces news for our YNN stations in the Hudson Valley, Southern Tier, Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo.
