The UAlbany football team has one more chance to call themselves champs of the Northeast Conference because they're leaving the NEC for the CAA next year.

The Great Danes obviously want to go out with a bang and they're doing quite the job so far. UAlbany is 3-0 in the conference looking to move to 4-0 against St. Francis this weekend.

Guilderland product Drew Smith is averaging better than 100 yards per game and his 12 touchdowns on the season lead the nation right now.

On the defensive side, the Great Danes are coming off a great game, holding Bryant last week to just 27 yards rushing. Add to it the fact that UAlbany broke into the top 25 this week they know everyone is gunning for them.
