Three teens arrested for late night burglary
TROY, N.Y. -- Three Troy teens face charges after police said they broke into an elementary school. Just after 1:40 a.m. on Friday morning, officers were called to New Turnpike Elementary because the burglar alarm was set off.
Once there, officers spotted three 17-year-olds leaving the building, and one of them was carrying a laptop from the school. Police think they got in through an exhaust port for a bathroom. The three teens face burglary, as well as other charges. Authorities are still deciding if they will grant them youthful offender status.
