Three arrests in Germantown drug raid
GERMANTOWN, N.Y. -- The Columbia County Sheriff's Office arrested three men following a drug raid in Germantown.
The raid took place on Thursday at the East Camp Road home of Joseph Clark, 20. Clark was arrested along with Daniel Potts, 24, of Livingston and James Stagias, 25, of Elizaville.
According to the sheriff's office, when the SWAT team entered the home, the suspects attempted to destroy evidence and resisted arrest. No law enforcement officers were injured, but Stagias sustained a minor hand injury.
The three were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and possession of a hypodermic instrument. They were arraigned and sent to the county jail without bail.
