LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. -- The Siena women's basketball team is looking to surprise some people in the MAAC this year. The Saints have a new head coach are are coming off a few rough seasons.

According to first year head coach Ali Jaques, the players came in ready and in shape. The Saints have had 10 practices and everyone is getting used to each other and Coach Jaques' style.

Siena has a couple things going for them this season. They've got some good experience and a lot of depth. There is only one freshman on this year's team.

Siena opens the season November 9th when they host Fairleigh Dickinson.
