ALBANY, N.Y. -- Times Union Center is trying to bring March Madness back to the Capital Region.

Bob Belber, the General Manager of the Times Union Center said a bid has been placed to host games in the NCAA Tournament for 2014 and/or 2015.

Belber says it would be an honor to host the tournament again. They should find out whether or not they were chosen at the end of the month.

The Times Union Center hosted the regional round of the tournament back in 2003. At that time, it was called the Pepsi Arena and of course Syracuse came through Albany en route to the National Championship.
