Kings exercise Fredette's contract option
SACRAMENTO, CA -- The Sacramento Kings must have seen something they liked from Glens Falls native and BYU grad Jimmer Fredette during his rookie season.
The Kings have exercised the 2013-2014 contract option of Fredette, meaning he'll be in Sacramento for at least the next two seasons.
Jimmer averaged more than seven points a game through 61 games, seven of which he started in. Fredette is entering his second season in the NBA after being drafted 10th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft.
