Handyman arrested for stealing from home he did work on
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany detectives have arrested a handyman they say broke into a home he had previously done work on.
Detectives say William Stefanik, 44, of Harris Avenue, broke into a home on Collins Place and stole money. Detectives say it happened sometime between September 25th and October 4th. Then on October 7th, they say Stefanik broke into the same victim’s garage and stole money from the victim’s car.
Stefanik was arrested charged with burglary, grand larceny and petit larceny. He is being held at Albany County Jail.
