TROY, N.Y. -- A longtime defense attorney in the Capital Region died Wednesday night following an illness.
Brian Donohue, 61, graduated from Albany law school in 1983. He went on to practice law in the Capital Region for 25 years.
Donohue was also the defense attorney in the murder trial of George Mott. Back in January, Mott was acquitted in the murder of Rosemary Crosier.
District Attorney Richard McNally said, "The Rensselaer County legal community has lost a colleague and friend. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Brian's family."
