ALBANY, N.Y. -- Beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, Washington Avenue westbound will be closed between Fuller Road and Crossgates Mall. This is so construction crews can finish the new flyover that will carry Washington Avenue traffic over Fuller Road.

When the road reopens Monday at 7 a.m., traffic will begin using the flyover.

Drivers are encouraged to use Western Avenue and New Karner Road as alternate routes.
