Case of animal neglect being investigated

SCHOHARIE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A case of animal neglect is under investigation in the Town of Cobleskill.

The Schoharie County Sheriff says deputies found two dogs and three snakes that were not being fed or cared for properly.

No arrests have been made, but deputies say the animals include a pit bull, a hound and a boa constrictor and two pythons. They have been taken to the Schoharie Valley Animal Shelter and are being examined.
