CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- We have a couple traffic alerts to pass along.

First, expect more delays if you're headed up the Northway this weekend. Construction's resuming on the Twin Bridges. The northbound lanes will be closed until noon Sunday and traffic heading north will cross over onto the southbound lanes. One lane will carry traffic heading north and one lane will carry traffic heading south.

Meanwhile, the westbound portion of Washington Avenue extension between Fuller Road and Crossgates Mall is shut down. It reopens at 7 a.m. Monday. Until then, people travelling in that area should plan a detour.
