ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany County Comptroller Michael Conners has been diagnosed with cancer.
Conners' blog on the Times Union website says he was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma.
Conners was elected to the comptroller's office back in 1995. Before that, he was the Public Works Commissioner for the City of Albany.
Conners said he'll continue to write about his battle in hopes of inspiring others.
