SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- The Union College hockey team had this past weekend off and it didn't do anything for them either way in the national standings.

The Dutchmen remain ranked eighth in the latest USCHO.com poll released on Monday. Union also received one first place vote.

The Dutchmen will head out on the road to take on American International on Friday, followed by UCONN on Saturday. Union is 2-1 so far in this short season.

RPI is also receiving votes again in that same poll. The Engineers are coming off a loss and a tie this past weekend. They have this coming weekend off.
