CAPITAL REGION -- CDTA is looking to help voters get to the polls on Election Day. Free service will be offered for Special Transit Available by Request, or STAR, customers on Tuesday, November 6th.

The bus service is available to those who because of a disability or impairment, cannot use the regular CDTA buses.

The special service will take riders to polling locations in Albany, Rensselaer, and Schenectady counties.

If you want to request a ride, you need to contact the CDTA no later than Monday, November 5th at 5 p.m.
