CAPITAL REGION -- National Grid crews are already hard at work preparing for the possibility that the Capitol Region could get the worst of the storm.
While they're always ready to respond to emergencies, workers are doing some extra preparations in anticipation of Sandy's arrival.
National Grid President Ken Daly said, “We always drill, we always have our employees on call for storms. Now we're going into very specific storm preparations, so we're preparing for the upcoming storm. We've activated our incident command structure. What that means is every one of our employees has a second assignment, a storm assignment. They're now preparing for that assignment.”
