ALBANY, N.Y. -- A rave-themed party scheduled at the Armory this Friday night has been postponed until November 30th. This is following a cease and desist order by the City of Albany.

According to a spokesperson for the Armory, they are not doing refunds because the rave is not cancelled, just postponed.

The city made the move following a fight at a foam dance party last week. Three police officers were hurt during the brawl outside the Armory.

City officials say the venue is not permitted to host those type of events and without the newly created cabaret license, the director of the city division of buildings says they can't hold concerts either.
