AMSTERDAM, N.Y. -- The Amsterdam Rugged Rams are in search of their first sectional Super Bowl since 2005.

That year the Rams went all the way to the Carrier Dome and a Class A NYS championship. Standing in their way in this weekend's Super Bowl is the most dominating team in Section II in the last decade, the Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Spartans.

These two teams met in last year's Super Bowl. That resulted in a Burnt Hills win.

For Amsterdam, many didn't expect them to make it passed the semifinals but they met Troy High last week and came back from a 14 point deficit to win that game and move on to the big one.

The Super Bowl will be at Shen on Saturday at 7:00 pm.
