ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany Police are looking for three people they say burglarized a couple in their 80s. Police said a man knocked on the door of the couple's home, and said he was there to check the water.

The man went into the basement with one of the residents, while the second resident stayed outside to do yard work. According to police, another man approached the resident who was outside as a distraction. At that time, a third person entered the couple's home and took some jewelry.

Albany Police are reminding people not to let uninvited repair workers into your home, and if someone claims to be at your home for an inspection, ask for identification.
