Pair arrested for selling drug in home near elementary school

ULSTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two people from Lake Katrine have been arrested after police say they were selling cocaine from their house, which is across from an elementary school.

Police say after a month long investigation, a search warrant was executed Thursday at a home on Neighborhood Road. According to police, they found more than five ounces of cocaine, with a street value of around $10,000, some marijuana, drug packing materials and scales.

Police say Hector Rosa-Oyola, 39, and Elizabeth Ostrander, 43, were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. They were arraigned and taken to Ulster County Jail on $50,000 bail and will reappear in court on Monday.
