By: Web Staff

New York, N.Y. -- When it comes to the NFL, New York teams have been anything but stellar. On the hardwood, it's a different story.

The New York Knicks have been on fire coming out the gate while Brooklyn has found some recent success. Both teams won their match ups Thursday night.

The Knicks improved to 6-0 on the season after beating San Antonio 104-100. Raymond Felton lead the way with 25 points and 7 assists. J.R. Smith came off the bench with another 17 points. The Knicks remain the only undefeated team in the NBA.

Meanwhile the Nets ousted the Celtics in a 102-97 win. Deron Williams and Brook Lopez each had 24 points for the night. Brooklyn improved to 5-2 after starting the season with a 1-2 record.

The Nets will get the next couple nights off with their next game on Sunday in Sacramento. The Knicks will be back in action Friday night in Memphis.
