ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany Police arrest a pair they say beat up and robbed a man.

Police say around 7 p.m. Monday, they spotted Tasien Yelenik, 29, and Anthony Pinkney, 30, assaulting a man at the corner of North Lake Avenue and Bradford Street, then going through the victim's pockets.

When officers approached them, Yelenik ran away. He was caught a short time later.

Both men were arrested and charged with robbery.
