NYC mayor announces help for businesses hurt by Sandy

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. – New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has announced more help for small businesses ravaged by Superstorm Sandy.

According to Bloomberg, another $5.5 million grant has been added to complement the already $10 million emergency loan fund.

The money is coming from the nonprofit Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City and the Partnership for New York City.

Businesses in need can contact 311 and ask for NYC Business Solutions or visit www.nyc.gov.
