HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- New York State Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information about the homicide of Laurie Ferguson.

The group said it will give up to $2,500 to anyone with information that directly leads to the suspect or suspects responsible for the crime. This comes as state police said their initial person of interest in the investigation is no longer of any interest.

State police said Ferguson was found stabbed to death in her Mobile Manor trailer park home on Thanksgiving Day.

They urge anyone with a surveillance camera on North Cross, South Cross, State Route 9-G or Reservoir Road to save their tapes as they could provide crucial evidence in the investigation.

To send in a tip to Crime Stoppers, you can call 866-313-TIPS (8477) or head to NYSCrimeStoppers.org.
