HUDSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- The wait is over for skiers and snowboarders. Several of the Hudson Valley's Ski Resorts opened their doors this weekend.

After the season's first snowfall earlier this week, Windham, Hunter and Belleayre Mountains are all open.

After last year's minimal snowfall, local mountains are looking to make up for the slow year. Many are offering early bird specials and season passes at reduced prices.
