Pro athletes lend their support to crash victims

CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- Two well-known names in the sports world are lending their support to Matt Hardy and Bailey Wind. Students at Shen actually used Twitter to get Matt Hardy a call from one of his heroes, Tim Tebow.

The student body got the Twitter message #TebowCallMatt trending across the entire United States and the Jets quarterback delivered. Monday night, Tebow called Matt, to wish him well on his recovery.

Tebow posted a tweet about his conversation, saying "Thanks to everyone who got #TebowCallMatt trending and helped connect us. Matt truly inspired me. God bless y'all"

A similar effort on Twitter got Bailey Wind a call from Olympic swimmer Missy Franklin. Franklin tweeted late Monday night that she left Wind a voicemail and that she, and the community, are in Franklin's thoughts and prayers.
