Nets fall to Thunder 117-111

By: Web Staff

BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Despite Deron Williams season-high 33 points for Brooklyn, the Nets fell to the #1 offense in the league on Tuesday.

Kevin Durant and company came to town on Tuesday and put up 117 points to Brooklyn's 111. Russell Westbrook added 25 of his own points for the Thunder.

The four other Nets starters all had double digit points. Brooklyn was with out starter Brook Lopez for a third consecutive game because of a mild right foot sprain. They were also without benchman Reggie Evans who has been an inside force, averaging 8.4 rebounds this year.

On a positive note for Brooklyn's competitiveness, Tuesday night's game was the first time in the last five games that Oklahoma City didn't win by 25 points or more.

Brooklyn will look towards their next game on Friday against Golden State.
