ALBANY, N.Y. -- Newtown, Connecticut has received overwhelming support in the aftermath of Friday's tragedy. One local business here in the Capital Region is working hard to make sure the people who are suffering, are taken care of.
GBM Solutions in Albany designed a shirt in honor of Sandy Hook Elementary. The shirts read: Rest In Peace 12/14/2012. The company designed the shirts in an effort to raise money for the victims.
"We want to send all the profits to the victim's families because there are a lot of things they are going to need to pay for, like funeral services," said Cheron Mendoza, Co-Owner GBM Solutions. "Right now we've set a goal of $50,000, and want to get that to them by Christmas."
