KINGSTON, N.Y. -- Christmas was in the air at the Old Dutch Church. The church held its 63rd annual living nativity in the churchyard.

People from the community came out to watch a play about the birth of Christ. Some even had the chance to become an actor.

"It's the reason for the season. It's about community. It's not just church members, but anybody who wants to participate off the street," said Rob Sweeney, Old Dutch Church Living Nativity Coordinator.

The living nativity wouldn't be complete without animals - three donkeys and one goat. They were donated by members of the community.
