GLENS FALLS, N.Y. -- Good news for American Hockey League fans. The City of Glens Falls announced the Adirondack Phantoms will play one more year at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

The AHL team has agreed to accept the civic center's lease-option to play in Glens Falls for the 2013-2014 hockey season. It will mark the fifth year for the Adirondack Phantoms and the 25th season in the American Hockey League for Glens Falls.

Adirondack Phantoms owners Jim and Rob Brooks have also agreed to relinquish their lease option should city officials successfully recruit a long-term tenant.

The Phantoms were previously scheduled to move to Allentown, Pennsylvania. That move was postponed after construction of the new arena was delayed.
